Garden inspired Wedding at Hinwick House - Ashley and Leigh

A weekend of love and laughter: Celebrating a UK destination wedding at Hinwick House in Oxford.

Nestled amidst the rolling hills of Oxfordshire, Hinwick House, a majestic Grade I listed Queen Anne mansion, played host to a wedding that transcended borders and brought together families from across the Atlantic. This wasn't just a wedding; it was a weekend-long celebration of love, laughter, and the enduring power of family.

The festivities kicked off on Friday with a warm welcome for guests arriving from both the US and the UK. The crisp English air was filled with excited chatter as old friends and new acquaintances mingled over clay pigeon shooting and a sizzling BBQ.

Saturday Wedding in Oxford

Saturday dawned bright and beautiful, revealing Hinwick House decked out in its finest finery. Ashley chose vibrant blues, lush greens, and playful patterns for her colour palette and her troupe of bridesmaids looked beautiful in their array of dresses.

The ceremony, held in the heart of Oxford, was a tearjerker (in the best way possible!). After the ceremony guests enjoyed a champagne and cake reception in the historic courtyard of Pusey House Chapel. The cakes were a trio of beautifully designed, timeless with a twist and full of exquisite details.

Black tie drinks reception and party

Back at Hinwick House, the celebrations continued with a canape drinks reception. Guests enjoyed the house whilst Boneyard Jukebox, a blues and rockabilly band, filled the air with infectious energy. Guests, adorned black tie, twirled and laughed, their faces lit by the warm glow of fairy lights strung through the trees.
